Dr. MacVeigh earned her degree in veterinary science from Michigan State University. Over the last 17 years, she has worked in veterinary clinics here in California, in Utah, and in Boston. She owned a veterinary hospital in Paso Robles, California for six and a half years. Upon Dr. George Bertram’s retirement in 2008, Dr. MacVeigh took over the Solvang Veterinary Hospital and became the primary veterinarian who donates her services to the care and treatment of the injured and abused domestic and wild animals and birds who are rescued by A.R.T.
